In July Cherry visited Wolfeton Manor with two of her beautiful owls and spent time with residents in the lounge. For those who were unable to leave their rooms, Cherry visited them indepently, giving everyone the opportunity to ask lots of questions and to hold the owls.
Cherry runss the New Forest Owl Studio, an organisation dedicated to the conservation of owls and other birds of prey in the wild. Cherry is passionate about education and increasing knowledge about and appreciation of these magnificent birds.
Animal therapy is also a wonderful experience for our residents and we hope that the visit encourages conversation for many weeks to come!
