Here at Wolfeton Manor, we are proud to be able to cater for any special dietary requirements our residents may have and our chef will gladly discuss these requirements with you to make sure you enjoy every meal.
We understand that meal times are an important part of our residents' days. They often provides a perfect time for socialising with other residents as well as receiving a healthy, balanced and nutritious meal. Each individual can choose to dine alongside other residents in our spacious dining room, or privately in their own room.
Our highly skilled chef Tanya is based in the home and visits our residents on a regular basis to discuss their choices and preferences for their meals.
We also welcome residents to eat with their friends and relatives when they come to visit, as this can help in recreating the home environment and allow residents to entertain guests just as they would at home!
Our menu is constantly being updated and tweaked to ensure that we provide a wide variety of different meals to suit every palete. Our chef is proud of their food and we are committed to ensuring the ongoing health and wellbeing of our residents through good nutrition and a varied diet.
For many care homes, writing comprehensive care plans, keeping them up to date, and communicated with residents’ families can be a time consuming task for care staff. As it is essential, we looked into how we can continue to provide our high level of care whilst ensuring all administration and care planning is kept up to date.
We use Person Centred Software, a fantastic electronic care management system to alleviate pressure on care staff, make documenting care plans quicker and ensure all residents are safe, comfortable and happy.
