At Wolfeton Manor we have a dedicated Activities Co-ordinator who organises many different fun and engaging activities, trips and events for our residents throughout the year for everyone to partake in.
From art sessions to aromatherapy to sing-a-long music workshops, we have a wide variety of activities to cater for all residents and their interests.
We also encourage our residents to pursue a life outside our home, with many of them continuing to attend functions and clubs outside Wolfeton Manor with family and friends.
Our Dorchester care home staff can provide a range of care for our residents.
We have a dedicated room for respite care stays which can be booked up to a year in advance, enabling carers to plan holidays in plenty of time.
The home is mostly filled with residents who need extra support with day-to-day tasks, so our carers are trained to assist with personal care while encouraging as much independence as possible.
As well as respite and residential care, we are also trained to provide compassionate end-of-life care that ensures the resident is comfortable while receiving palliative care.

For many care homes, writing comprehensive care plans, keeping them up to date, and communicated with residents’ families can be a time consuming task for care staff. As it is essential, we looked into how we can continue to provide our high level of care whilst ensuring all administration and care planning is kept up to date.
We use Person Centred Software, a fantastic electronic care management system to alleviate pressure on care staff, make documenting care plans quicker and ensure all residents are safe, comfortable and happy.
