Visiting The Beautiful Village of Compton Valence
16th February 2016
On Friday the 12th of February we visited the beautiful Village of Compton Valence. While we were there we saw a large array of snow drops and daffodils that adorn the roadsides.
We were then welcomed in to the Village Hall for a fantastic lunch of homemade soup, warm rolls, delicious cakes and finishing with tea and coffee. We all really enjoyed the visit and hope to be able to return next year. We would also like to thank those running the lunch for their warm welcome and hospitality. The flowers were described as “Absolutely Beautiful”, the soup was said to be “So good it makes you want more”, and one resident commented “There’s not many places you can get warm rolls now, but this is one of them!”.
